What is it? Your live mobile profile enables you to establish what personal data you share about yourself with other individuals, organizations, and service providers online.

How does it work? You create one profile and, with the use of new, interoperable and highly secure data-sharing standards, you decide who sees your profile and how much information to reveal. For example, site-specific shareability allows you the choice of what personal data you share on a business site versus a family site, or any site for that matter. While your profile will include different fields to capture the many sides of you, site-specific shareability puts the power in your hands. The more information you share, the more you see of others' — as you offer trust, you gain trust.

Who will use it? You will use your profile to allow individuals, organizations and service providers (of your choosing) to know you better. Organizations and service providers in your network of trust access current information about you, giving them, and you, one less thing to maintain. Online communities, organizations and service providers may adopt these profiles to replace their proprietary profile systems in use today, and new sites will have one less thing to develop.
